Fans cost Al Ahli Tripoli

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has found Al Ahli Tripoli club guilty after its fans attacked Simbaa players and officials in the first round of the Confederations Cup group stage game

Al Ahli Tripoli have been banned from admitting fans to their two CAF Championship matches

The club has also been fined in the amount of 20,000 dollars equal to approximately Tsh. 55 million due to the violence that occurred on the field in the game that was played in Tripoli on September 15 and ended with the result of a no-tie solution

Simba managed to reach the groups after a 3-1 victory in the return game played at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on September 22
