Simba and Yanga clubs have been nominated for the best club of the year awards in the CAF annual awards that will be held in Morocco at the end of this year
The awards will be held in the tourist city of Marrakech, Morocco, on December 16, 2024, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced
This is the third time in a row that Morocco has organized the festival, after organizing it with great success in the last two years
Yanga and Simba have entered the awards together after doing well in the Champions League last season where they both played in the quarter finals
However, African champions Al Ahly are there, as are the Confederations Cup champions who are also CAF Super Cup champions, Zamalek
These trunks are given the chance to win the award that went to Al Ahly last season
The goalkeeper of Yanga and the Mali national team Djigui Diarra has been named in the competition for the best goalkeeper of the year award competing with other best goalkeepers nominated for the award including Andre Onana goalkeeper of Manchester United
