Knauf company focused on the production of Gypsum and other products, today has signed a sponsorship agreement with Simba club
The one-time contract is worth Tsh 200 Million
Speaking at the signing ceremony of the agreement, Simba Chairman Murtaza Mangungu said the agreement is a direct collaboration and will involve all Simba teams
"The biggest and most important thing is increasing the value of the investment in our club. We don't look too much at the value of the money we get, more at the value of the contract of the company and its size"
"We have signed a contract of direct cooperation, we have no external and internal competition and the contract is for all our teams," said Mangungu
And Ilse Boshoff, who is the Regional Director of Knauf Tanzania, has said that they have chosen Simba believing that it is the biggest club here in Tanzania and East Africa where through this agreement they will promote themselves more
"Knauf is a strategic investor and Simba is a big institution. I see great cooperation for these brands and look at how we can move forward. We want to grow in Tanzania and East Africa and in cooperation with Simba we believe we will get there," he said
