The Tabora United Club, has said that after losing 3-0 against Simba last Sunday, the KMC Complex Stadium located in Mwenge, Dar es Salaam, they are now directing their anger at Namungo in the next match
Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, the club's Information Officer, Christina Mwagala, said they accepted that they lost the match legally against Simba due to various reasons including the absence of many players in the squad, but the game gave them enough practice to know the importance of Premier League matches
"We have accepted that we are tied, but we have tied against a great Simba team, so I think we will win the next match because we are no longer playing with an animal, but Namungo"
"The last match has given us enough direction and practice to know the weight and balance of the Premier League, I think now the players will understand what they need to do after that game," he said
Mwagala said the main reason for losing the match was the first, then playing with a big team, with many new players
"We have registered 28 players this season, but among them, only six were from last season, so you will see that all 22 are new, you are going to play with a team like Simba, maybe if we played with another team, we have finished that I think the next match we will show football fans that Tabora United is not a game team as they think," he said
The head coach of the Kenyan team, Francis Kimanzi, has continued training to unite the team that seemed to lack unity in the game against Simba
Tabora United is in Dar es Salaam, preparing for a trip to Lindi region to play the second round match of the Tanzania Mainland Premier League against Namungo, next Sunday, Majaliwa Stadium, Ruangwa
