After a 3-0 victory against El Qanah in the first friendly game that Simba played yesterday in Egypt, Simba Head Coach Fadlu Davies has expressed his satisfaction with the level shown by his players in that game
Fadlu has said that what he worked on during the two weeks of pre-season in Egypt has started to show, but that is just the beginning
"I'm glad we were able to win the match with 3-0 goals but the important thing is the players have played well, after two weeks of training, this is a good step for us"
"This is a special strategic match, we started well and scored two goals in the first period, if we had not made a change of players we had a chance to score even five goals"
"It was a match in which we aimed to give each player a chance to see how successful we have been in our preparations. Each player got at least 30 minutes to play, only two players (Awesu and Onana) were late to join us here in Egypt they played for 20 minutes"
"Some players we gave them more time (60 minutes) considering their fitness and readiness after this short training period"
"But I say we still have work to do, on average we needed at least six weeks of preparation. We have a new team, most of the players here are foreigners, we need to build them tactically as well as get more friendly matches" p>
