Chama fate unknowns

While the process of registration of local and foreign players in Tanzania towards the preparation of the new season continues, you can say that the Reds of Msimbazi are delaying their compatriots, Yanga announced the midfielder, Clatous Chama, has landed in their team, it has been explained

The party has refused to sign a new contract to continue serving Simba because they have not reached the amount of money that he needs, claiming that he does not deserve to be paid due to his age and current level, while rumors say that the Zambian has already finished with Yanga

The Information Officer of Yanga, Ali Kamwe, has said that they are late in announcing the names of the players left and the new ones they have signed due to some clubs not completing the process of parting with their stars

Never without naming names, he said that some clubs are delaying giving 'goodbye' letters to their stars for fear of joining Yanga and this situation has caused concern among Simba members and fans, especially where the midfielder is going.

"There is one player who is finishing his contract, but his relatives don't want to give him a letter, they are afraid he will come to us, just give him to a young man so that he can come to the club of his dreams, and that is what has made us postpone or delay giving them a 'Thank You' ' we will part with them and announce the new players we have signed," said Kamwe.

Information from Simba says that the contract between the Association and Simba has a few days left and now the rules allow him to negotiate with any team that needs his services

"The contract between the Lions Club and the Association ends on June 30, and after that he will be free, he has already spoken with Yanga, both parties have agreed that they are waiting for his contract to expire before he inks it, he has already agreed with them on the registration fee and salary and another important allowance, what is waiting is only time," said the source

The source went on to say that the 'wind' may change and Chama, who this is not the first time he has been linked to landing in the desert, may remain in Msimbazi and 'bury' Yanga's dreams to get the player's services

"Initially they did not reach an agreement with the Association, but one of the members of the Board of Directors from the side of the investor who is also in the Registration Committee intervened in the matter. Two days ago, the negotiations between the Association and the leadership started again, it went well, the player's interests have been taken into account, what I am telling you is that he has not yet signed the contract, but he has agreed to stay, what is being waited for is a signature, a thumbs-up and to start taking an identification photo," added the source

Simba's Information and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, has said that no player should remain with the club and will leave. Ahmed said the Registration Committee is planning to strengthen every department in their team to increase strength and achieve goals for the new competition season
