The head coach of Yanga, Miguel Gamondi has said that despite having a good season, they still have a tough job ahead of them in the final of the CRBD Bank Federation Cup against Azam Fc
In the final, Yanga will be away in front of the hosts Azam Fc, the game will be played on June 2, this year at the New Amaan Complex, Zanzibar Islands, at 2:15 p.m.
Gamondi said he is happy to achieve their goals by winning the league title together with his player Stephane Aziz Ki to finish the season as the top scorer
"At the beginning of the season, I told you about Aziz Ki, that he is a great player and will do great things. He takes the award for the best scorer. It is something to be proud of. Despite everything, we have not yet finished the big task ahead of us, which is the final," said Gamondi.
He said they have the final of the Federation against Azam Fc, it won't be an easy game but he believes his boys will do well and succeed in winning the title which they have held for two consecutive seasons
"This season we have played well, I have had the best team, defense, midfielders and strikers and we have managed to produce a top scorer now we want to win the FA title"
"The final is between two teams and one should win. Yanga is the best team in the country and we are going to play the final in a good field that is well played"
Gamondi has explained that it will not be an easy final according to the last match when they met Azam Fc, they lost a situation that he does not want to see repeated in the final
