Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has admitted that his team was not in quality and therefore lost the Premier League game against Azam Fc played at Benjamin Mkapa stadium yesterday
However, Gamondi has said that the environment of the game was difficult for them
Gamondi has complained about the difficulty of the schedule that his players have faced before the game
"We have played five matches in a short period, these players are human not robots"
"The first goal was scored due to our mistakes but the second goal was clearly offside"
"We are not complaining about being closed but I think there are circumstances where we were not treated fairly in this game. I know there are people who are happy today after this match...!," said Gamondi
In that game in which Yanga conceded a 2-1 defeat, players Pacome Zouzoua and Yao Kouassi failed to finish the game after suffering injuries
Pacome injured his knee in the 30th minute while Yao suffered a muscle injury as the game went to the brink
The players are expected to undergo tests to determine the extent of their injuries and perhaps if they are serious injuries it could be a blow for Yanga towards the Champions League quarter final game against Mamelodi Sundowns which will be played on March 30
