Amrouche still the Tanzania coach

Despite the news of the dismissal of the head coach of the Tanzania national team 'Taifa Stars' Adel Amrouche, but the Minister of Arts, Culture and Sports, Dr. Damas Ndumbaro has made it clear that the coach is very much in the Stars

The minister has said that the Government is with the coach even when his eight-game ban by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ends

Dr. Ndumbaro has said that the Algerian coach has done great things and is the one who brought the team to the ongoing AFCON championship in Ivory Coast, so they will be with him in the challenges he is going through and they will not terminate his contract

"Still, we as the Government who paid the salary are punished, it is not the time to piss him off, we are with him in this difficult period he is going through"

"We still have faith in him, he is the one who brought us here to the qualifying section. This teacher is the one who made this team, we are with a teacher, we have not terminated the contract, he has been punished by CAF, he has not been punished by the government or TFF"

"In this difficult period that the teacher is going through, we are with him and we will continue to be with him, to give him all the support that is needed, so that he can go through this difficult period safely" said Dr. Ndumbaro

After the coach was suspended, the team is currently under interim coaches Hemed Suleiman and Juma Mgunda
