Simba head coach Abdelhak Benchikha has asked the leaders of Simba to ensure that they complete the registration of a new striker before the small registration window closes on January 15
After leading Simba to reach the final of the Mapinduzi Cup with a 3-2 penalty shootout win against Singida FG after a 1-1 draw, Benchikha has insisted that Simba still needs a better striker than what he has. p>
One of the leaders of Simba who is on the registration panel has revealed that Benchikha has been more aggressive than ever
He wanted to know how far the registration process of the two stars he wants especially in the front row has reached while insisting that the central striker should be first because the destination is difficult and they cannot break through the image he has seen so far in the Revolution Cup.
Benchikha has told them that he is not satisfied with the standards of his attackers led by Jean Baleke and Mosses Phiri
Baleke has scored two goals in the five matches he played in the tournament while Phiri scored one goal.
"The coach wants better results, he sees that our strength in the front is still not pleasing to him, we are struggling to find an important person in the front so that those we have are people to come and add something later and not rely on them as the first choice," pointed out the leader of Lion
Benchikha, talking about yesterday's match, said that his team has played a difficult domestic match against the Best team, which has given him a chance to know more improvements where he is now going to work.
"This is one difficult match against a good team, if you get a test like this, it gives you a chance to know the quality of the work you are doing or where you need to add something," said Benchikha
"There are areas where we need to increase strength or there are players who need to increase the speed of throwing that the team needs, our biggest challenge is here, we will continue to work on improving the things we have identified"
