The operation and management committee of the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB), has fined Singida Fountain Gate Sh1 million for the offense of invading the Liti Stadium during the last practice of Coastal Union a day before the game between those teams and cause violence
In addition to the club being fined, the committee has also fined some players as well as the technical bench of Singida
Those who were fined were goalkeeper Beno Kakolanya who was suspended for three matches and fined Sh1 million for insulting Coastal Union leader, Juma Kindo
The team's assistant coach, Thabo Senong has been suspended for three matches and fined Sh1 million and Deus Kaseke and Hamad Waziri have been fined Sh500,000 for participating in the violence and using bad language against Coastal leaders.
On the Coastal side, player Roland Beakou has been fined Sh500,000 for the offense of pouring liquid in the center line of the field after an inspection of the act interpreted as superstitious beliefs.
