Twelve teams in the East African region have confirmed to participate in the Mapinduzi Cup, which is expected to start at the end of this month in the islands of Zanzibar
This year's tournament is expected to be more exciting after the team has increased
12 teams from Mainland Tanzania, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Kenya have confirmed to participate in the tournament
Those teams are;
- Mlandege FC - Zanzibar
- Singida Fountain Gate - Mainland Tanzania
- Vital'O FC - Burundi
- Simba SC - Tanzania Mainland
- Yanga SC - Mainland Tanzania
- APR FC - Rwanda
- Azam FC - Tanzania Mainland
- URA FC - Uganda
- Bandari FC - Kenya
- KVZ FC- Zanzibar
- Chipuzi FC - Zanzibar
- Jamhuri SC - Zanzibar
Mapinduzi Cup will kick off on December 28, 2023 at the Amaan Island Stadium in Zanzibar
