Information and Communications Manager of Yanga club Ali Kamwe has confirmed that the club has written a letter to the League Board to request an explanation of the three-match ban given to midfielder Khalid Aucho
He has never said that Yanga has asked to be given an explanation of the punishment considering that there are Yanga players who were subjected to uncivil incidents and the club once complained to the Board to ask for action to be taken
"Basically, we have not appealed the suspension of three matches given to our player Khalid Aucho, but we have written a letter to the Board to ask for clarification which rule has been used to punish Aucho despite the fact that he was already punished on the field"
"Our players were subjected to unethical incidents and we wrote a letter to the League Board asking for action to be taken, but we were told that the Committee cannot award double punishment for incidents that the referee saw and took action on the field" p>
"Now we have asked to be given different information between the incident that Aucho did (the referee showed him a yellow card) and others that were not taken further after the referees gave the card on the field," said Kamwe
