The Premier League Board (TPLB) has assured all fans who will enter the Benjamin Mkapa stadium to witness the Kariakoo derby game between Simba and Yanga on Sunday, security will be sufficient
In addition, TPLB has asked fans who go to the stadium with weapons to hand them over to the police station near the stadium and after the match they will follow their weapons
The statement was made by TPLB Information Officer, Karim Boimanda while talking about the preparations for the game that will be played on Sunday, November 5 at 11 pm
"There are fans who enter the stadium with weapons, so anyone who owns a weapon and walks with it will have to leave the police station that day because they will not be allowed to enter with it"
"Fans will be checked, because there will be enough security from the Police," said Boimanda
Boimanda has said that the gates on that day will be opened from 4:00 in the morning, so he has asked fans to book tickets early to avoid confusion and those who will be given special invitations to make sure they do not share their invitations with someone else.
