The government has given seven days on fake jersey saga

Minister of Industry, Investment and Business Dr. Ashatu Kijaji has asked businessmen to stop running to the police when they have a business challenge and instead go to the Competition Commission (FCC)

Dr Ashatu said yesterday after visiting and inspecting a warehouse that was found to store fake jerseys of Azam FC, Yanga SC, Simba FC and the Tanzania national team

The minister said that the first institution to which complaints should be sent is the FCC because it is the one with the authority to protect consumers to determine whether a product is fake or not, but also to protect effective competition in business

Also, Dr. Ashatu has given seven days to the director of the commission, Wiliam Erio, to satisfy himself and know the actual number of T-shirts and jerseys in order to conclude this matter and deal with the suspects who own the cargo, which is estimated to be worth Tsh 10 billion
