Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said that his team will be ready to face Azam Fc in the premier league game that will be played on Sunday, October 22nd at Azam Complex.
The game has been pushed back after schedule changes made by the League Board, it was originally scheduled to be played on October 25
Gamondi has said that they have spent a long time without playing a match, so the game being pushed back is a good thing
"I am happy with the schedule change, because before I was struggling with how to get a friendly match to build physically and competitively the players who have been out of the field for a while without playing," said the Argentinian coach
Additionally, Gamondi has said that he believes the players who are on national team duties will return in time ready for the game
"Djigui Diarra, Stephane Aziz Ki and Khalid Aucho are playing the last friendly matches serving the national teams, on October 18 I have told them to come back the next day to prepare for the game as it is a difficult and highly competitive game"
The stars of Yanga who were the Tanzanian national team expect to return to the country today after completing the schedule of the friendly game against Sudan which was played in Saudi Arabia yesterday and ended with a 1-1 draw
