This Saturday morning, Simba played a friendly match against Dar City at its Mo Simba Arena, Bunju - Dar es Salaam and won 5-1, with its goalkeeper Aishi Manula returning to the goal.
The game is the first for Manula this season because before that he was out of the field nursing hip injuries he got on April 7, this year in the Tanzania Football Federation Cup (ASFC) match, against Ihefu at Azam Stadium Complex.
In today's game, Manula started in goal for Simba playing for 40 minutes, before being changed and replaced by Hussein Abel who has not yet had enough time to play in the team since he was signed at the beginning of the season from KMC.
Manula's return is good news for Simba ahead of the AFL game against Al Ahly which will be played on Friday, October 20 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
