President of Yanga SC, Hersi Said has thanked the country of Rwanda that received them and guaranteed the safety of the Yanga people who traveled by the hundreds to witness the first leg of the African Champions League against their hosts Al Merrikh of Sudan
With Yanga being away in the land led by President Paul Kagame, but it was like it was just at home due to the large number of their fans filling Kigali and even the reception they got from their locals
Hersi, who before the game presented Rwandan Sports Minister Aurore Mimosa Munyangaju with President Kagame's special jersey, said Yanga had a good time in Rwanda and is grateful for the hospitality given to them
"We are grateful for the reception we received here in Rwanda, for me it was an honor to hand over the Yanga jersey to the Honorable Minister of Sports of Rwanda as a special gift for the Honorable President Paul Kagame," said Hersi

Hersi has also thanked the members and fans of Yanga who traveled to Rwanda in large numbers to cheer on their team
Hersi said that the number of citizens who traveled is a sign of the great faith that the citizens have in his leadership and will ensure that they continue to fight for the club logo
