Simba Club Media and Communications Manager Ahmed Ally has said that after the 2-2 draw against Power Dynamos, the team is returning to the country to prepare for the return game which will be played in October in Tanzania
Ahmed said they expected the game to be competitive because Power Dynamos is not an easy team, being the champions of the Zambian Premier League
"We expected the game to not be easy, this game has given us the right measure of the Champions League match. We were not very good in the first half, but you see we came back stronger in the second half and probably deserved to win more goals"< /em>
"This draw they got is not because of their quality but it is also caused by mistakes on our side. We have lost many open chances if Baleke and Saido had scored the chances they got, maybe today we would be talking about something else"
"But also the second goal they scored against us was due to the mistakes of our goalkeeper, so in general we have received this result and we are going to prepare for the return game at home"
"We will go to finish the job in Dar es Salaam, this Simba is not for Power Dynamos in this competition. We know where we went wrong in the first game so we will go to correct ourselves at home to qualify for the group stage," said Ahmed
The Simba team is expected to return to Tanzania today to prepare for the next game in the Premier League against Coastal Union to be played next Friday at Uhuru Stadium
