Yanga are expected to face off against Al Merrikhya Sudan, in the first leg game of the first stage of the African Champions League to be played in Rwanda to seek a ticket to qualify for the group stage
For three different periods, Niyonzima has served in the Simba and Yanga teams, while he managed to win five Premier League cups in three consecutive seasons. Speaking about the game, he said he was happy to see Yanga returning to play in Rwanda
"I am happy to see my Yanga team coming here to Rwanda for the international game against Al Merrikh, I would like to promise you that I will be in the front line to lead the reception, but also to ensure that Yanga gets a winning result and leave here with smile," said Niyonzima
