The final of the qualifying tournament for the African Women's Champions League (CECAFA), will be played today in Njeru Stadium, Uganda between JKT Queens representing Tanzania against C.B.E of Ethiopia
JKT Queens qualified for the finals after beating Buja Queens of Burundi 3-1 and continuing their good record in the tournament held in Uganda while C.B.E advanced to the finals by beating Vihiga Queens of Kenya 2-1
This is the first time for JKT Queens to participate in the championship since its inception in 2021, but Tanzania being experienced after last year, Simba Queens won the championship by beating She Cooperate of Uganda 1-0 in the finals
