The draw for the CAF Football League (Super League) is expected to take place on September 02nd in Egypt
Simba is among the eight teams that will participate in the special championship which is being held for the first time in Africa
The teams are placed in two groups of four teams based on the points they have collected in the last five years in the CAF competition
Group A consists of Al Ahly, Mamelod Sundowns, Wydad Athletic and Esperace
Group B has the teams of Simba, TP Mazembe, Enyimba and Perto Luanda
Teams from the same group will not meet at the preliminary stage because the team from group A will be scheduled to compete with the team from group B
Simba will open the tournament on October 20 against Al Ahly, Mamelod Sundowns, Wydad or Esperance
