Manchester United has announced that Mason Greenwood will leave the club following an internal investigation into allegations of attempted rape, control and other charges against him
After Greenwood was cleared of all charges, Manchester United announced a special investigation before deciding the player's future
"Manchester United has concluded its internal investigation into the allegations made against Mason Greenwood"
"All those involved, including Mason, recognize the difficulty of him regaining his job at Manchester United"
"It has therefore been agreed that it would be best for him to do so outside of Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that," said a statement from Manchester United
