Yanga Head coach Miguel Gamondi has said that they have completed the preparations for the Champions League, the preliminary, tomorrow they expect to face Asas Fc from Djibouti
Gamondi has said that although they do not know their opponents well, they are fully prepared to face them because he believes they are a good team
"We have completed the preparations for the first game of the champions league against Asas Fc. We don't know our opponents very well but we have prepared fully, I believe we will have a good game and a good result as well"
Gamondi said after the Community Shield, they have had time to make special technical improvements so Yanga fans can expect entertainment and a good game that will be accompanied by goals
Speaking on behalf of his teammates, left defender Nickson Kibabage said they are going into the game with the determination to win
"We do not under-estimate any team, we know we are facing a team that is champion to their Country, so we take this game seriously like any other match," he said
The game of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, will be played on Sunday August 20th at 5 pm at the Azam Complex, Asas Fc being the hosts of the game
