FC Barcelona has been temporarily allowed to play in the 2023-24 Champions League amid a Uefa investigation into allegations that the club paid bribes to the head of referees
In March, European football's governing body confirmed it was investigating allegations of payments made by Barcelona to secure better refereeing decisions
Barcelona have denied making those mistakes. While granting the permission temporarily, Uefa reserved the right to punish the club in the future
Uefa's investigation came after a criminal investigation was launched by Barcelona's public prosecutor's office on March 10
It was claimed that Barcelona paid 8.4m euros (£7.4m) to Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, the former vice-president of the Spanish referees committee and his company Dasnil 95
