Chief Executive Officer of Geita Gold Fc Simon Shija has said that the team is expected to make major improvements in this registration window
Geita Gold finished seventh in the 2022/23 league standings, the team having dropped three places from the fourth place they finished in the 2021/22 season
Shija has said that until now they have given letters to seven players to part with them but there are also others who will be left
"At the moment we have given letters to seven players but we are still talking to the other three and if we fail then we will also open the door for them to leave, although we don't want that to happen"
Shija added that one of the players who are in negotiations for a new contract is Elias Maguri, who they want to continue with next season after showing a good level since he joined them
The players given 'Thank You' are; Fabrice Kayemba, Arakaza MacArthur, Shown Oduro, Mussa Gadi, Jeremiah Thomas and a Japanese player
