Yanga Information Officer Ali Kamwe has said that the club will announce its Head Coach after the General Meeting which will be held on Saturday, June 24 in Dar es Salaam
Kamwe said that the coach will be involved in all registration processes, so after being introduced he will work with leaders
In addition, Kamwe has noted that the future of assistant coach Cedric Kaze and others in the technical bench will depend on the recommendations of their new coach
"After the General Meeting we will announce the Head Coach, then we will start announcing new players. We are not like the other clubs, we will introduce the coach and then the players so that he can build the team himself"
"Regarding Cedric Kaze, we will ask the new coach, if he has his assistants, then Cedric Kaze we will give him another job," said Kamwe
Kamwe has also confirmed that the Yanga club has started negotiations to extend the contract of their star striker, Fiston Mayele
"First of all, let it be understood, Mayele is a Yanga player with a one-year contract, negotiations to improve the contract are normal for our club when the player is doing well"
