Simba Club Information and Communication Manager Ahmed Ally has said that they will ensure they win the semi-final game of the FA Cup against Azam Fc which will be played on Sunday, May 07 at the Nangwanda Sijaona stadium
Ahmed has said that Simba has a narrow chance in the race for the premier league but in the FA Cup, they have 180 minutes to chase the championship
"We need to win the semi-final game against Azam FC in order to achieve our goals of taking the championship of this competition. It has not been a very good season, we have been eliminated from the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League but also our hopes in the Tanzania Premier League has faded much after the draw against Namungo Fc"
"At the moment we have 20% of becoming champions of the Premier League and 80% of missing it, we have to tell each other the truth. The possibility of Simba winning all three matches that are left is possible, but the possibility of our opponent losing all three matches is difficulty"
"Therefore, the only place that does not need luck to win its championship is at the Azam Sports Federation Cup. In order to win this championship, we have to play well in two matches (Semi-Finals and Finals).
