Mtibwa Sugar Club has confirmed the dismissal of the former Head Coach of the team, Salum Mayanga due to the team's poor performance in the Premier League and Azam Sports Federation (ASFC) Cup.
The team's Information Officer, Thobias Kifaru has said that their leadership has reached those decisions with the good intention of saving the team from relegation
"I have made difficult decisions due to coach Mayanga being one of the founders of this team, but I think the bad wind has passed through him and lasted for a long time for him to put the team in danger, which is why the management has decided to rest him," said Kifaru
Mtibwa Sugar is among the teams that may be relegated or play two knockout games 'Play Off' if they do not win their last three games, the team currently ranks 12th in the standings having collected 29 points in 27 games
