The Azam FC team has entered camp to prepare for the semi-final game of the Azam Confederation Cup (ASFC), against Simba to be played on May 6, Nangwanda Sijaona Mtwara Stadium

Azam meets Simba while their last game was in the Premier League against Ruvu Shooting and managed to win 3-1, in a match played on April 22, Jamhuri Morogoro Stadium.
Azam was able to eliminate Mtibwa Sugar by scoring 2-0 goals in the (ASFC) quarter-final game, while on the part of Simba, they advanced to the final stage following a resounding 5-1 victory against Ihefu.
