Chelsea have contacted Mauricio Pochettino 'in the last few days' as they continue their search for a new permanent head coach.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who says the club has contacted the Argentine directly
Chelsea were linked with a move for the former Tottenham and PSG coach in the summer, but never got him
Romano says talks are not yet at a 'progressive' stage and Julian Nagelsmann remains first choice
However, it is claimed that talks with Pochettino will continue as Chelsea 'want to be 100% sure of their choice'
