Inter Milan used 45 minutes of the second half to get a 2-0 away win against Benfica and put themselves in a good position to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League in Europe
Nico Barella and Romelu Lukaku scored the goals that put them ahead of Inter heading into the second leg match to be played in Italy next week
Barella scored with a header in the 51st minute, finishing off a good cross from centre-back Alessandro Bastoni, who was attacking from the left.
Lukaku, who came from the bench, scored a penalty in the 82nd minute after VAR pointed to the ball hitting the hand of Benfica captain Joao Mario
The two goals give Inter a huge advantage in the second leg at San Siro next Wednesday, where they will have a great chance to reach the Italian semi-finals against their neighbors AC Milan or Napoli
