Manchester City took a big step towards the Champions League semi-finals with a 3-0 win over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the quarter-final at the Etihad on Tuesday night
Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland scored goals for the Premier League champions in their best form
It took Manchester City almost half an hour to score the first goal, but a world-class finish from Rodri from outside the box gave the English side the lead
There were signs of a possible comeback for the visitors at the start of the second half but City added a second goal within six minutes as Haaland provided a superb assist for Silva before scoring City's third.
Pep Guardiola's side will travel to the Allianz Arena with a three-goal advantage in the second leg next Wednesday.
