Yesterday Chelsea confirmed the return of Frank Lampard as interim coach
The Stamford Bridge legend is back with the Blues after Graham Potter was sacked more than two years after he himself was sacked as manager
Lampard (44) started his duties yesterday Thursday and will be in action on Saturday against Wolves
Chelsea co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali said in a statement:
"We are delighted to welcome Frank back to Stamford Bridge. Frank is popular in the Premier League and a legend at this club"
"As we continue our search for a permanent manager, we want to provide the club and our fans with a clear and consistent plan for the remainder of the season"
"We want to give ourselves every chance to succeed and Frank has all the qualities we need to get us to the finish line"
"We have an important game against Wolves on Saturday and then we will turn our attention to the Champions League quarter-finals in Madrid next week. We will all give Frank our full support as we aim to get the best results from all our remaining games"
