Saka win EPL player of the Month

Bukayo Saka has been crowned Premier League Player of the Month for the first time, picking up the award after helping leaders Arsenal win all four of their games in the competition in March.

Saka scored three goals and added two assists in the four matches he played that month as Arsenal recorded wins against Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham and Crystal Palace.

Only Manchester City's Erling Haaland (33) and Tottenham's Harry Kane (23) have been involved in more Premier League goals than Saka this season (22).

The 21-year-old player, considered the best player of the season, is the only player to reach the number of goals (12) and assists (10) in the league this season

Having helped Arsenal lead the league by eight points against City as the Gunners chase their first league title since 2004

Saka went up against Alexander Isak, Alexis Mac Allister, Tyrone Mings, Mohamed Salah and Arsenal teammate Leandro Trossard

He becomes the second Arsenal star to win the monthly award this campaign, after Martin Odegaard was voted the best player in November and December

And Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale won the Premier League's best goalkeeper award in March for the first time, while Mikel Arteta won the best manager award

Arsenal have won three of the four awards given in the Premier League each month
