Having arrived safely in Morogoro, the head coach of Simba, Roberto Oliviera 'Robertinho', has said that he expects to use the Premier League match against Mtibwa Sugar that will be played tomorrow as part of the preparation to face Horoya AC from Guinea
Simba will host Horoya AC in the CAF Champions League match to be played on March 18th, this year at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam.
Robertinho has said that his team is strong and ready to seek three points against Mtibwa Sugar to continue to place themselves in a safe place in their race for the championship of the Tanzania Mainland Premier League.
The coach said he knows Mtibwa Sugar is one of the best teams in the country, so they will play with great attention to ensure they continue to strengthen themselves in the league.
"Getting three points from Mtibwa Sugar will give us morale for the next African Champions League match against Horoya AC. We want to continue to get better results, it will help us gain more confidence," said the coach
He added that the match against Mtibwa Sugar will be competitive because the hosts need to protect the honor of playing at home and they need to leave with three important points.
"We know Mtibwa Sugar, we know it will not be an easy match due to the quality they have, especially because they will be playing at home, we need a positive result in our game on Saturday"
"This match will have two things, needing a win and returning home with three points, but it gives my players a boost for our next international match," said the coach"
In tomorrow's match, Simba will miss its four stars, Kibu Denis, Ismael Sawadogo and Augustine Okrah who are injured and the second choice goalkeeper, Beno Kakolanya, who has special permission to end his family problems.
