Manchester United coach, Eric Ten Hag has said that midfielder Bruno Fernandez will continue to captain the team when defender Harry Maguire will be absent from the field.
Ten Hag has had to say this following some football fans claiming that the player does not deserve to be captain due to his behavior in last weekend's game against Liverpool.
Speaking at the press conference yesterday before the Europa League game against Real Betis at Old Trafford today, Hag said he is happy Bruno is the captain and that everyone makes mistakes.
"He's talented, I'm happy to be our player and captain as well," said Hag
Last week former England players, Chris Sutton and Gary Neville accused the midfielder of not being fit to be captain after he showed behavior they called irresponsible and shoved the referee in a gesture of contempt
