Yanga has shined at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium this evening, emerging with a 2-0 victory against Real Bamako in the CAF Confederation Cup game
The goals of Fiston Mayele and Jesus Moloko ensured Yanga three important points which have put them in a good position to reach the quarter finals of the tournament
Yanga's first goal was scored by Mayele in the 8th minute finishing the attack started by Kennedy Musonda
Mayele could have scored three goals in the first half if he had been more focused
During the break, coach Nasreddine Nabi made important changes, improving the midfield area by replacing Aziz Ki with Khalid Aucho while Jesus Moloko replaced the injured Tuisila Kisinda
These changes increased Yanga's quality and created more opportunities including a penalty kick after Mayele was fouled in the danger zone
Yannick Bangala missed the penalty but in the 68th minute Moloko scored the second goal after stealing the ball from a Bamako defender
It is a victory that has made Yanga reach seven points and strengthen in second place
Yanga needs to win the game against US Monastir to qualify for the quarter finals
