Tanzania's representatives in the CAF Champions League, Simba, today shined at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium with a 1-0 victory against Vipers Fc
The only winning goal for Simba, who dominated the game for most of the time, was scored by Clatous Chama in the 45th minute
It is an important victory for Simba which has moved them to second place in group C after reaching six points
Their nearest rivals Horoya Ac have accepted a 3-1 defeat from Raja Casablanca, who assured themselves of reaching the quarter-finals
Horoya have dropped to third place in group C with their four points
Simba is closing in the quarter final stage as they now need to win the next game against Vipers Fc which will be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on March 18th to book a ticket before their last game against Raja Casablanca which will be played in Morocco
