Yanga Head Coach Nasreddine Nabi said his team is ready for the CAF Confederation Cup game against Real Bamako which will be played on Wednesday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Nabi said they need to win the game as well as the next game against US Monastir to have a good chance to reach the quarter finals
Nabi said that the last game they will play away against TP Mazembe will be very difficult, so they should make good use of their home ground to collect six points in two home matches starting with Real Bamako
"We are playing against a team we have just mate in Mali. After Bamako we will play against Monastir. It is a difficult but we need to win these matches because the Mazembe match will be more difficult"
"The match against Real Bamako will be difficult but we are prepared, we are good and we will fight to win"
"The players, even we coaches were not happy with the result we got in Mali, we were hurt by Real Bamako equalizing in the last minutes, the players have promised to fight for a big victory tomorrow"
"We know Real Bamako didn't come to joke, so we know the match will be difficult but we will do our best to win," said Nabi
Nabi noted that winger Jesus Moloko was injured in the FA Cup game against Tanzania Prisons, he will undergo a final evaluation after today's training
"We are also sorry to miss Salum Abubakar who lost his son today," said Nabi
Also, Nabi said that they have worked on the shortcomings that appeared in previous matches, especially on corner kicks
"It is the lack of focus and the players' lack of communication that has led to allowing four goals of the same type in the previous matches. This is not related to the players' height, we have worked, I believe my players will add more focus in dealing with balls that come from corners or foul"
