PSG striker Kylian Mbappe has reached another career milestone, surpassing Edinson Cavani as Paris Saint-Germain's all-time top scorer with his 201st goal against Nantes in Ligue 1 on Saturday
The French forward scored PSG's fourth goal in the dying minutes to win 4-2 and set the record
The club held a short ceremony after the game, with a large portrait of Mbappe displayed at the Parc des Princes
"It's a very special thing to be here. The last time I was here was to announce my stay (contract extension), it's an honor to be here as the club's top scorer," said Mbappe
"It's a privilege to be a PSG player, to play in this historic jersey, for the biggest club in France"
Mbappe, 24, has reached Cavani's record in very few matches. While the Uruguayan took 301 matches to reach 200 goals, Mbappe needed only 247 goals.
Born in Paris, Mbappe joined PSG from Monaco in 2017 for a record-breaking €180 million
