The assistant coach of Geita Gold FC, Mathias Wandiba, has said that they are focusing their energy and intelligence in the game of the 16th stage of the famous Azam Federation Cup (ASFC) FA Cup against the Green Warriors on Friday this week
The match will be played at their home stadium of Nyakumbo, located in the region, welcoming the 'Wajeda' of the Championships League, whose home is Dar es Salaam.
Wandiba said they have returned home from Ruangwa after conceding a 2-1 away defeat in the Tanzania Mainland Premier League game against Namungo FC.
He said they are continuing their preparations by working on the weaknesses that emerged in the last match and strengthening themselves for the next game of the Azam Federation Cup.
"Preparations are going well because the game is on the schedule like other league matches and the players will be missing for now until we get the team doctor's report," said Wandiba.
He said that they have no plans to make a change in the team in the game and that this can happen only if they get a report from the team's doctor due to the fact that they will miss some players due to injuries.
