Ruvu Shooting transfer to Morogoro

After doing badly in its various matches played at Uhuru Stadium, Dar es Salaam as its home ground, Ruvu Shooting has announced to move to Jamhuri Stadium in the region, Morogoro

The Information Officer of Ruvu Shooting, Masau Bwire, said their first match to use Jamhuri Stadium will be against KMC FC of Dar es Salaam which will be played on Sunday.

"All the procedures have already been completed, on Sunday we will officially start using the Jamhuri Stadium, Morogoro as our home ground, I think after that we will have a good continuation because it is just like home on the coast," said Bwire.

However, Bwire avoided linking the decision to move to the stadium as a result of the bad results they got while playing at Uhuru Stadium after their Mabatini Stadium in Mlandizi, Pwani was closed.

"You don't play on the field, what you play is football, if you have little ability, even if you send you to your room, people will just shut you down. We have focused on ability and not because we are losing much freedom, but we chose Jamhuri Stadium from the beginning when our stadium was Mabatini When Mlandizi was closed," added the official.
