Simba Sc Board of Directors member Mulamu Nkhambi said they are determined to do well in all 15 NBC second leg games believing they still have a chance to defend their title for the fifth consecutive season
Yesterday 15 first round games ended with Simba finishing second in the league standings with 31 points, behind Yanga by eight points
Mulamu said 15 games are too many so they have no worries as it will not be the first time they have won the title from behind
"The first round is over I have not seen anything new, the teams vying for the title are just the same, we are determined to do better in second round. I believe we can still defend our title"
"It 's not strange because even last season at times like this we were in second place but everyone knows what happened in the end, we were champions," said Nkhambi
Commenting on the Simba preparations for the Confederations Cup match against RS Berkane, Nkhambi said the team had arrived in Morocco with the intention of doing well in the game
"It will be a tough game, but I believe we will do well given the quality of our team. I know RS Berkane have just lost the previous game, they will be at home, we have our goals, we trust the players and the technical bench, I believe they will give us happiness" < / em>
