Simba head coach Pablo Franco has said the squad is ready for the semi-final match of the Mapinduzi Cup against Namungo Fc which will be played on Monday at Amaan Stadium
Pablo said due to the proximity of the match, there are no special preparations, today after the evening training, he will know which players will be ready to play tomorrow
Pablo also urged referees to ensure they protect players' health by punishing players who are aggressive to others
"We believe the referees will not protect the players who are aggressive to others. Tomorrow's game against Namungo will be good because both teams play good football. We do not have time to prepare because the matches are near, after today's training we will know who plays tomorrow," said Pablo
Simba's assistant captain Shomari Kapombe said they are aware of the quality of Namungo Fc, so they are well prepared to win
"It will be a tough game as we are playing against Namungo Fc whom we met in the league. We know their quality but we are determined to make sure we qualify for the finals," said Kapombe
The semi-final match against Namungo Fc will be played from 8:15pm at Amaan Stadium
