Simba Sc head coach Pablo Franco has urged referees in the Mapinduzi Cup to focus on the health of the players to prevent them from injuries
In yesterday's game against Mlandege which ended in a goalless draw, Mlandege players deliberately targeted Simba players but the referees didn't take appropriate action
Pape Ousmane Sakho was the worst victim of being bullied by Mlandege players
Pablo said Simba has bigger competition than this, he is not happy to see his players are not properly protected by the referees due to being subjected to multiple fouls from opponents
Pablo said since the first game against Seliem View, players are hurt but the referees does not take action and it could have serious consequences for the team
"In two matches I have seen players being attacked but the referees are not making the right decisions. This tournament is good but it is the referees' responsibility to make sure they protect the players from harm," said Pablo
