Yesterday, Simba completed their second-leg tie and qualified for the CAF Champions League group stage despite being held to a goalless draw by Nsingizini Hotspurs.
Simba had virtually secured qualification from the first leg played in Eswatini after winning 3β0.
This latest qualification adds to Simbaβs growing legacy both in Tanzania and across the East African region.
Simba have now reached the group stages of CAF competitions seven times in total.
Five of those appearances are in the Champions League and two in the Confederation Cup (CAFCC).
This milestone puts Simba in the company of continental heavyweights such as Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly, who lead the way in consistent CAF group stage appearances.
