Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, says the team has started their preparations well in Eswatini and are confident of being ready by Sunday to face Nsingizini Hotspurs.
Simba arrived in Eswatini on Wednesday night and began training yesterday at Somhlolo Stadium, which will also host the match on Sunday.
Speaking about the weather conditions, Ahmed said the cold is intense, but arriving early will help the players acclimatise before matchday.
“We thank God we arrived safely after a long journey from Dar es Salaam. All players are in good condition.”
“We have started our preparations and are training at Somhlolo Stadium, the same venue that will be used on Sunday.”
“The weather here is extremely cold especially in the morning and at night, but I think it may be different in the evening hours.”
“Since we arrived early, it has given the players time to adapt to these conditions. I believe by Sunday we will be ready for the match,” Ahmed said.
Simba will complete their final preparations today at Somhlolo Stadium ahead of the encounter.
