Kenya’s Gor Mahia are expected to arrive in Tanzania on Monday, two days before the highly anticipated Simba Day, scheduled for Wednesday, September 9 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
While their visitors prepare to land early, hosts Simba are intensifying their training at the Mo Simba Arena under tight security. Head coach Fadlu Davids has demanded his squad prepare in total focus and tranquility.
Since returning from their preseason camp in Egypt, Simba have kept details of their training sessions under wraps, but the “Wekundu wa Msimbazi” are sharpening their claws to deliver joy to their fans this season.
Simba’s preparations go beyond Simba Day, as the team is gearing up for two crucial matches: the Community Shield clash against rivals Yanga on September 16, followed by a CAF Champions League tie against Gaborone United of Botswana.
