Simba Sports Club’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ali, has assured the club’s fans that the leadership is determined to restore the team’s glory in Tanzanian football.
Ahmed made this statement earlier today during the launch of Simba Week in Mafinga, Iringa Region.
The spokesman declared that the club’s slogan *UBAYA UBWELA* will be doubled in intensity this season.
“The honor of Simba Sports Club will return in the 2025/26 season. We are tired of being belittled by small boys. The Lion is reclaiming its throne. With the signings we’ve made, I assure Wanasimba that this season is *Ubaya Ubwela Part Two.* This Simba we’re talking about has signed a player from Mamelodi Sundowns, a player from Wydad, and another from Tunisia.”
“The players we’ve signed this season are very talented and highly experienced. Their hunger for success will carry us forward this season. Our squad is complete. In goal, we have Moussa Camara and we’ve added another excellent young goalkeeper we’ve not unveiled yet. On the right flank we’re solid, and on the left we’ve brought in even better options—no ordinary player can get past them.”
“In central defense, there is danger—Chamou has stayed, Hamza is still here doing his fine work, but we’ve signed someone called *The Rock.* Let me not spoil all the excitement, see you on Simba Day.”
“In midfield we still have Kagoma, but we’ve added a player called *Kunta Kinte.* The forward line is even more explosive—from the number eight role onwards it’s chaos, hahaha! Ahmed also urged Simba fans in Iringa to be ready for the unveiling of the new jerseys, which will take place tomorrow.
He added that the new Simba kits will be available nationwide after the launch, including at Posta offices across the country.

Here in Iringa, we’ve partnered with Tanzania Posts Corporation, and jerseys will be available at their offices. That’s the Simba way.
